I’ve been incorporating some old family photos into mixed-media pieces. I like the “ghostly” look I managed.
These incorporate two of the few Danish phrases my father taught me: “I love you” and counting from one to ten. He left home at 15 to come to North America and then Canada and had no further contact with his family. I don’t know the whole story there as with many of that generation he didn’t talk about it.
