The colour palette I’ve used often including lime green, turquoise and bright pink is inspired by the photographic technique used in enhancing photos of cave art. The approach is called D-Stretch and was used first in the U.S. Here’s an excerpt from the website: Decorrelation stretch, an image enhancement technique …can be usefully applied to rock art. I(it has the) ability to bring out elements nearly invisible to the eye and to improve visualization of difficult sites.
From Deep Within. I feel it can be deep within a cave–with lights and photogrphic equipment turned on–or deep within to my interior space. What does it say to you?
